AVCA Announces Men's Division III Volleyball Awards

(April 30, 2004) The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced the naming of Juniata senior middle blocker Kenny Eiser as the inaugural AVCA Division III Men's National Player of the Year.

Additionally, the AVCA announced first- and second-team All-America honorees for Division III.

CSTV To Broadcast Men's Volleyball Triple-Header

(April 27, 2004) College Sports Television (CSTV) will broadcast each of the men's volleyball major conference championship matches on Saturday, May 1 as a kickoff to its month-long programming initiative dubbed Championship Mayhem.

2004 All-MPSF Teams Announced

(April 23, 2004) The results of the voting done by the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) coaches for the 2004 All-MPSF teams has been released by MPSF Executive Director Al Beard.

Morehead State Signs Four

(April 23, 2004) Second-year coach Jaime Gordon announced the signing of four prep players to national letters-of-intent for his 2004 recruiting class. Those players are 6-0 middle blocker Jessica Ayodele (Grand Prairie, Texas/South Grand Prairie HS), 5-11 outside hitter Melinda Humen (Bedford, Texas/Bedford HS), 5-8 setter Amy Johnson (Louisville, Ky./Assumption HS) and 6-0 outside hitter Kelsey Cronin (Fairfield, Ohio/Fairfield HS).
