CVU.com 2009 Division I Bracket Challenge

29-Nov-2009

Think you know who is going to win the 2009 NCAA Division I Women's volleyball championship? Match your abilities of prognostication against other readers and staff of CVU.com for bragging rights as the best volleyball prognosticator.

Here is what you do:

  1. Download the bracket in PDF format.
  2. Fill out your bracket. If you have Adobe Acrobat (Standard or Profession) or Acrobat Reader 7 and above, you will notice that the document has interactive form fields that will allow you to type your picks into the form.
  3. Predict the game score of the championship match, that is 3-0, 3-1, or 3-2.
  4. Send the bracket to us along with your first and last name, city and state, and your email address in one of the following ways:
    1. Print it out and fax it to us, toll free, at 866-201-0241.
    2. Send us an email with the winners listed by rounds.
  5. Entries wll be received up until the start time of the first match (5 pm ET, Thursday, Dec. 3).

Points will be awarded for each correct selection, one point for each correct pick in the first round, two for the second round, three for the third round, four for the regional finals, five for the semifinals, and 10 points for the championship.

The person with the most points at the end of the tournament will be the winner. In the event of a tie, your prediction of the game score in the national championship match will serve to break the tie. If a tie still remains, a winner will be chosen from a random drawing.

Entries received without a first and last name, city and state, and email address will be discarded and not included in the challenge.

Update 12/3/09: You can also join the CVU Readers group at the NCAA's game site. The name of our group is CVUReaders and the password is cvu2009.
